How is ReSound responding to COVID-19?

The health and well-being of our customers, employees, and partners is a cornerstone of our business. On this page, you can find information about how we are doing everything we can to support you and people with hearing loss as the situation around novel coronavirus continues to evolve.

Like many businesses, we have also implemented a working from home policy in some locations, and we strictly adhere to guidelines from WHO and local health authorities.

We’re working hard to support our customers and partners, so you can continue to reach out to your contacts as needed.

We are aware that the increased spread of COVID-19 is causing uncertainty globally. From the first developments of COVID-19 in China, we have been working diligently to take all the necessary steps to ensure our employees, customers and partners are safe, and that daily operations remain efficient, such as ensuring our supply chain is intact, so we can deliver the support you need.

Your Support & Service

As you might expect, the COVID-19 situation is creating some challenges that may prevent us from responding to your inquiries and orders as quickly as we usually would. We are working as hard as possible to make sure we can support you in the best way and will reply to any inquiries as quickly as we can. We apologize if you are experiencing irregularities during this period.

Travel limitations

Business travel has been reduced or halted completely across the company, with videoconferencing technology being utilized instead, wherever possible. We hope that our remote care solutions will help hearing care professionals and hearing aid users in taking care of their health and hearing during this difficult time.

Employees have been advised to limit their personal travel as well.

Events

In line with the recommendations from the WHO and CDC to avoid large meetings to minimize exposure to the coronavirus, ReSound has postponed or cancelled larger scale events for the foreseeable future. The safety of our employees, customers, partners and associates is our primary concern in this decision and we do not wish to place anyone at unnecessary risk. We will continue to assess our commitment to events on an ongoing basis.

Your place for updates

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will of course update this page when new information changes our approach. Please be assured that we have robust structures in place to ensure that the business will continue to run smoothly while the situation with COVID-19 remains uncertain.
